Vietnamese children join FIFA football festival in Moscow

A delegation of four Vietnamese children and its head arrived in Moscow, Russia, on June 26 to attend the “Football for Hope” festival – the official event of the FIFA World Cup 2018 to honour the power of football in making positive changes in society.

$657,035 allocated for activities to support 6,000 disadvantaged kids

In response to the Action Month for children in June themed “ For a healthy life for kids”, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children is implementing practical activities to support around 6,000 needy kids with total spending of VND15 billion ($657,035).

Doctors from the US and Italy have provided free genital regeneration operations for 230 Vietnamese children, and given free consultation and check-ups to 800 other patients since August 2011 under a program entitled “Thien Nhan and Friends”
