North warned of possible flash floods

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center said the northern province of Quang Ninh will face heavy rains and it is forecast many places in the province will have flash floods.

The northern and central regions experienced heavy downpours on Friday afternoon, posing a threat of flash floods and landslides in Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Hoa Binh provinces, where the rainfall measured 160-190mm, reported the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
