Ho Chi Minh City has implemented lot of projects to solve flooding, traffic jam and overloading for Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Still they are unlikely to radically tackle the issues due to rapid mechanical population increase.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport has been overloaded with infrastructure development inappropriate with increasing travel demand. In addition, hours long traffic jams have regularly occurred and flooding has been a permanent issue after heavy rains in the airport’s area.

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday said the northern region continues suffering heavy rains on large scale, flooding will be able to occur in upstream major rivers such as Ma (Son La, Thanh Hoa province); Da (Son La, Hoa Binh province) and Thao (in Lao Cai, Yen Bai); Bang Giang, Ky Cung in Lang Son province.
