Pursuant to new regulations in Decree No. 32/2019/ND-CP of the Government dated April 10th, 2019, businesses will have more opportunities to participate in bidding on supplying public goods and services.

Vietnamese more satisfied with public services: PAPI report

Vietnamese citizens had greater satisfaction rates with most basic public services thanks to the substantial improvements in provincial and local government performance, the 2018 Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) revealed.

50 percent of survey respondents unsatisfied with public services

Some local administrations announced 80 percent – 90 percent of Ho Chi Minh City residents and organizations satisfied with public services whereas in reality, a pilot survey conducted by the Vietnam Fatherland Front has shown lower rate approximating only 50 percent.

By the end of 2018, more than 30 cities and provinces across the country have launched public services chatbot with the aim to simplify administrative procedures as well as to provide best services to residents and improve people’s satisfaction.
