Travel demand to Malaysia sharply increases

The national flag carrier- Vietnam Airline announced that most of its flights to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) are almost fully booked and travel demand to this country continues to increase.

Accordingly, the national flag carrier plans to add more six flights, equivalent to an increase of nearly 1,300 seats, including three flights from Hanoi, two from Ho Chi Minh City and one from Da Nang to Kuala Lumpur to meet Vietnamese fans' demand who wish to present in the first leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

Vietnam Airlines has to use A350-900 aircraft with 305 seats to serve the fans on the occasion. VNA said it will continue planning to increase flights or arrange larger aircraft to meet the needs of fans throughout the country.

Along with the regular two flights per day connecting between Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam Airlines has provided about 3,000 seats for the Vietnamese fans to Malaysia from December 7 to December 12, aiming to support and cheer the Vietnamese national team against the host-country in the first leg final match of AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.
