The company will install 48 check-in counters and will open an extra of 12 counters if necessary, double it in the T1 Terminal.

It takes about ten minutes to move by bus from T1 to T2 Terminal.

VNA is expected to be the first airline to operate the first flights in the new terminal from December 25.

The four-storey T2 Terminal covering 139,000 square meters has been built at a total capital investment cost of US$900 million, aiming to ease the overloaded condition at the T1 Terminal.

The new terminal will serve 10-15 million passengers a year by 2020. Afterwards the Government will consider building two more terminals T3 and T4 to increase the capacity of Noi Bai Airport to 50 million passengers per year.
