50,000 automobiles under surveillance with tracking devices

Global Position System (GPS) tracking devices will be implemented in 50,000 cars, buses, coaches, and trucks starting March 1 to reduce accidents and reckless driving.

The GPS devices will record speed, driving time, traffic and route, according to the Vietnam Road Administration.

All data will be transferred to the administration.
