AirAsia offers 100,000 free tickets to Thailand

In a bid to boost its country’s tourism industry, Thailand’s AirAsia has offered 100,000 free tickets on some international flights to Thailand for travel between January 6 and March 31.

Passengers can book tickets on the website from December 17 to 19.

The free tickets, excluding tax, fuel surcharges and other fees, are available on flights between Bangkok and Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam; Phnom Penh in Cambodia; Rangoon in Myanmar; Jakarta in Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Penang in Malaysia; Singapore and China’s Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau. The promotion also extends to flights between Phuket and Singapore.

AirAsia operates more than 400 international weekly flights that connect Thailand to Southeast Asia’s countries and China. It also operates 378 domestic flights within Thailand each week.

The free seat promotion is being offered in cooperation between AirAsia and Thailand's Tourism Authority.
