Cambodian Tourism Ministry yesterday worked with Kien Giang Province’s tourism sector to open a new voyage tours between the two countries.

At the meeting, the two sides arrived at the agreement on the new tour connecting Bai Vong harbor in Phu Quoc Island in the Mekong delta province of Kien Giang with Cambodia’s Kampot harbor to help increase the number of foreign travelers.
Additionally, tourist sectors of the two countries agreed on boats of the tours and the two sides will carry out survey on channelization between the harbor in Kampot province of Cambodia and Bai Vong port in Phu Quoc Island.
Presently, Cambodia is building a harbor in Kampot province which is scheduled to complete in late 2019.
Cambodian Tourism Ministry proposed Kien Giang Province to set up a mission group and invited Kien Giang tourism leaders to visit Kampot with the aim to speed up the new voyage tours between two countries.
