Carriers to sell Tet tickets from October 8

National flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines on October 8 began selling air tickets for its domestic flights during the Lunar New Year.

Accordingly, the carrier will provide 1.4 million seats on all domestic routes up over 100,000 seats (equivalent to 566 flights) compared to the same period last year.
Local budget carrier Jetstar Pacific Airlines is also offering 600,000 seats (equivalent to 3,210 flights) to meet the people’s travel demand on Tet holidays.
The carriers encourage passengers to purchase tickets early, make the earlier planning of the journey and choose the right day to book flights that can actually help reduce the cost of tickets as well as enjoy kiosk check-in at airports, the in-town check-in service in Hanoi and Da Nang to save time.
Airlines also advise passengers to arrive to airport at least two hours before flight departure to complete check-in.
