Central provinces attract crowded tourists during national holiday

With a favourable weather, beautiful beaches along seacoast of Central provinces become attractive destinations for local and foreign tourists during the national holiday.

The number of visitors booked domestic as well as international tours that increased rapidly in comparison with the same period last year. Especially, the long beautiful beaches, bays in Central provinces are attractive destinations for tourists.

Particularly, Vinpearl Lands, Hon Tam, Doc Let tourism area, Ponagar tower, Long Son pagoda, Monkey Island and Cau Da tourism port in Nha Trang City attracted not only crowded tourists but also residents.

During holiday, the weather in Nha Trang City is so advantaged for swimming in the sea, outdoor activities.

In addition Nha Trang city, Con Co Island is also considered as the second attractive destination for tourists.

On the national holiday, Con Co Island welcomed thousands of tourists although this destination faces to many difficulties in infrastructure.

Accordingly, lighthouse on the island is one of best attractive destinations for many visitors.

Currently, Con Co Island calls for investment in economic development of this island district towards eco- tourism.

After Hue Festival 2014, Thua Thien - Hue province continues to kick off a festival called “Song nuoc Tam Giang” ( Tam Giang Wave) on Reunification Day (April 30), aims to introduce economic, cultural and tourism potential to visitors.

Tam Giang Laggon is considered as largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia with total of over 22, 000 hectares square.

During the festival, thousands of tourists participated in cultural activities.

After Tam Giang Wave Festival, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province and relevant agencies will hold Lang Co festival at Lang Co Town on May 24- 25 to praise values of economy, culture, travel as well as ecological environment of the local.

Lang Co is one of the major tourist destinations in the central region, with luxury seaside resorts.

Lang Co was recognised as the 30th member of the “World’s Most Beautiful Bays” club (Worldbays Club) in 2009.
