Da Lat’s red maple tourist area opens

A red maple tourist area has just been opened for the public on May 26 at Da Lat City’s Ward 3 in the central highlands province of Lam Dong.

The 5 hectare tourist site includes more than 2,000 red maple trees,  20,000 Juniperus chinensis trees, 500 cherry blossom tress and many other valubale plants.
The tourist site is expected to become a place for students to study and learn about types and species of cone-bearing trees.
The area was recognized as the place having the largest number of red maple trees in the country  at the 33rd Meeting of Vietnam Record Holders in Ho Chi Minh City on May 6 by the VietBook record (Viet Nam's Guinness records organization
