The Ministry of Transport and the People’s Committee of the coastal city of Da nang co-organized a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of international passenger terminal on November 15 (photo).
The project has a total investment capital of VND 3,504billion including three items: international terminal, overpass and parking area.
Da Nang Airport’s International Terminal is built at an area of 21,000 s.p meters and designed to symbolize Da Nang city.
The new terminal has 20 check-in desks, 22 check-out desks and 10 boarding gates. It is estimated that the terminal will serve from 4 to 6 million passengers each year and exploit code E aircraft. The current terminal will become domestic one, ensuring Da Nang International Airport’s development strategy to 2020 and its vision by 2030.
As scheduled, the construction will be run in 16 months and completed in March, 2017.
