Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific has changed flight schedule to domestic flights due to drizzle and frog in Hai Phong’s Cat Bi Airport on February 27.

Accordingly, flight BL510 which took off from the Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport at 6:45 am on the day was forced to land at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, instead of its original destination - Cat Bi Airport in the northern port city of Hai Phong.

The carrier also provided assistance to passengers from flight BL511 on Hai Phong-Ho Chi Minh City route in moving to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for their flight to HCM City.

Jetstar Pacific adjusted the schedule of two other flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong city, including BL516 and BL517.

Flight BL516 departing from Ho Chi Minh City arrived in Noi Bai Aiport; and flight BL517 on Hai Phong-HCM City route left the Vietnamese capital city for Ho Chi Minh City.

The airlines will continue to keep close watch on the weather to make flight changes and ensure safety for passengers.

The carrier recommended that all customers flying between HCM City and Hai Phong can check the status of their flights at the Jetstar Pacific’s website and its agencies nationwide for further information.
