Free Wi-Fi Internet service covers Hoi An town

Visitors to the ancient town of Hoi An can now easily access the Internet via a free Wi-Fi service, since morning of March 28.

The Vietnam Data Communication Company (VDC), the People’s Committee of Hoi An town and Quang Nam Province authorities launched the free Wi-Fi service at an opening ceremony on March 28.

Le Ngoc Duc, director of VDC said that this essential facility has made Hoi An town the first tourist destination to have free Wi-Fi service in all of Asia.
 
He hoped that the free Wi-Fi service will contribute to attracting more visitors to this beautiful and exotic town.
