HCMC’s Standard Tourism Services Appeal to Visitors

Besides four department stores of Parkson, Diamond Plaza, Zen Plaza and Tax, the Tourism Department of Ho Chi Minh City has so far certified 61 shops of handicrafts, silk, jewelry, home appliance stores, supermarkets, and restaurants in the city as being of “Tourism Standard”.

The standard tourism services include familiar brand names of Khai Silk, Miss Ao dai, PNJ, Pho 24, Givral Restaurant, Sai Gon dining boat and so on.

Prices, product quality and international payment services at the retail outlets certificated by the Tourism Department of Ho Chi Minh City are “safe for shopping”.

“Standard tourism services” is one of the key programs of the tourism department in improving the quality of services and trade to appeal to international visitors to Viet Nam, stimulating their spending and extending their stay.

The program was highly appreciated by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and will be carried out in localities across the country, head of Travel Department of VNAT Vu The Binh said at the summing-up ceremony to celebrate the two-year program.
