The first direct charter flight from Bangkok to Hue City landed in Phu Bai International Airport on March 18, bringing 161 leaders, journalists and representatives of 100 travel businesses of Thai capital Bangkok.

Passengers of the flight travel to Hue for the conference on investment and cooperation between Thailand and Hue.
Thai airline, New Gen Airways has cooperated with the Department of Panning and Investment of Thua Thien-Hue Province to open the route. The new service aims to develop and promote provincial tourism.
