New routes, including Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore and Hanoi-Vinh have been put into operation by Vietnamese low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific on October 27.
The Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore route will be operational with four weekly flights using 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
The Hanoi-Vinh new service will be operational with one daily return flight using Airbus A320 aircraft, making it the 11th domestic air route.
The budget carrier has operated local domestic flights connecting Vietnam’s main airports in HCMC, Hanoi, Danang, Vinh, Haiphong, Hue, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc Island.
The Ho Chi Minh City-Bangkok route is expected to be launched on December 10.
