Jetstar Pacific, Vietinbank sign deal to buy more aircraft

Low-budget Jetstar Pacific inked a credit contract worth 117 million USD for aircraft purchase with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Vietinbank) on October 11.

The carrier will use the credit to buy modern airplane A320ceo in a bid to improve its services and expand domestic and international routes.

This deal marks Jetstar Pacific’s first time cooperation with Vietinbank, as part of the carrier’s long-term investment and development plan.

Le Hong Ha, Chief Executive Officer of Jetstar Pacific said that the cooperation benefits both sides as well as reaffirms Jetstar Pacific’s commitment to sustainable development in Vietnam and the region.

Vietinbank is a partner of Jetstar Pacific for online ticket payment for domestic credit and debit card users.

Jetstar Pacific is the first low-budget airline in Vietnam, with 33 domestic and international flight routes. It joins with global Jetstar network with 75 destinations to 17 countries and territories.
