The first direct flight from Singapore to the central city of Da Nang by the low cost airline Jetstar Asia landed at Da Nang International Airport with 173 passengers at 7:35 p.m. last night.
About half an hour later, another flight also departed from Da Nang for Singapore.
Da Nang is the second destination of the airline after Ho Chi Minh City.
Flights between Da Nang and Singapore are scheduled on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday every week with 180 seater Airbus A320 airplanes in economy class.
