After docking there for eight hours for travelers to view historic sites and the famous landscapes of Hue and Hoi An, the ship is to proceed to Nha Rong port in Ho Chi Minh City.
Aside from accommodating 630 passengers, excluding crew and service staff, the Italian-made ship, 187 meters long and 25 meters wide, can also transport 153 container trucks and 100 automobiles and cruise at 25 nautical miles per hour.
According to Viet Nam's state-run Vinashin Co., owner of the ship, passengers travel in comfort during their cruise thanks to the high-speed liner’s modern facilities including reclining seats, bars and restaurants, telephones and fax machines, and satellite email.
