Particularly, a project on expansion of the Tan Son Nhat Airport is scheduled to last within 16 months with total investment capital of VND 1,910 billion.
By 2020, the Tan Son Nhat International Airport will serve 45 million passengers a year, exceeding its current exploitation capacity of 25 million passengers per year.
The renovation of the Noi Bai International Airport costs VND 2.3 trillion with a expansion work during 16 months. By 2020, the airport is expected to serve 20- 25 million passengers a year.
The Airports Corporation of Vietnam also proposed investment capital of VND 1,018 billion for upgrading, repairing and renovating the Cat Bi Airport.
The project is scheduled to be finished in the first quarter of 2019.
