Seoul-Da Nang direct flight launched

Asiana Airlines officially declared open a new route from South Korea to the central coastal city of Da Nang in Vietnam with its first direct flight from Incheon International Airport in Seoul landing at Da Nang on December 14.

Asiana Airlines officially declared open a new route from South Korea to the central coastal city of Da Nang in Vietnam with its first direct flight from Incheon International Airport in Seoul landing at Da Nang on December 14.

Asiana Airlines operates under its parent company, Kumho Asiana Group and is set to operate two fights a week, on Wednesday and Saturday between Seoul and Da Nang.

In related news, the private airline Viet Jet Air received its first of three Airbus A planes to operate on routes including HCMC-Hanoi-Da Nang, Hanoi-Da Nang. The other two aircrafts will arrive in Vietnam within the next few days.

To mark the occasion, Viet Jet Air will offer a huge promotion by providing 2,000 one-way tickets priced at VND10,000 (not inclusive of tax and fees) on flights departing from December 25 to April 30, 2012 on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route.
