VietJet Air opens new routes

Budget airline VietJet Air will launch two more routes, the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route from April 27 and the Hanoi-Nha Trang route from May 19 this year.

Budget airline VietJet Air will launch two more routes, the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route from April 27 and the Hanoi-Nha Trang route from May 19 this year.

The HCMC-Da Nang route will be covered with two flights a day, while the Hanoi-Nha Trang route will see one flight daily.

From April 27, two more flights will be added on the HCMC-Hanoi route from its present six daily flights, to meet a growing demand.

VietJet Air launched its commercial activities in Vietnam and made its debut as a low-cost carrier at the end of 2011. To date, the carrier has operated nearly 360 safe flights, carrying more than 40,000 passengers within just two months of operations.
