The Vietnam Airlines Corporation has given the Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) an assignment to operate flights between Hanoi and Dong Hoi city in central Quang Binh province from March 26.
Accordingly, VASCO, a subordinate company of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation, will add more three flights to the schedule and increase to 7 flights per week on the Hanoi-Dong Hoi route, using 68-seat ATR-72 aircraft.
The one hour and 25 minute flight will depart from Hanoi at 7.45 a.m. and take off from Dong Hoi at 9.45 a.m.
The transfer aims to improve the efficiency of operation of Vietnam Airlines’ subordinate airlines, VASCO and Jetstar Pacific Airlines, and expand VASCO’s business operation to meet the increasing travel demands of passengers.
Vietnam Airlines previously transferred Ho Chi Minh City-Rach Gia-Phu Quoc, HCM City-Phu Quoc-Can Tho, and Ha Noi- Dien Bien flights to VASCO; Hanoi/HCM City–Tuy Hoa, and HCM City–Chu Lai routes to Jetstar Pacific Airlines.
