VNA increases 18 percent of turnover

The national carrier flag of Vietnam- Vietnam Airlines (VNA) reported that it had carried out more than 70,400 safe flight and loaded nearly 10.3 million passengers in the first six months of the year, an increase by 6 percent, compared to the same period last year.

Of which, the local flights increased 9.3 percent.
The On-time Performance (OTP) index of Vietnam Airlines reached 91.3 percent, an increase of 6.1 points compared to the same period last year and exceeded 3.3 points of its target which was higher than the other international and regional aviation agencies.
Its total turnover was estimated of nearly VND 43,000 billion, increasing 18 percent compared to the same period. The profit before tax was around VND 830 billion equal to 51 percent of the year plan.
In order to maintain development in the last six months of the year and next years, VNA has officially opened the Customer Services Center operating during the week, implemented the online services and quality survey program for its flights.
