Tropical depression upgraded into storm

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, a tropical low pressure system was upgraded into a storm named Kai-tak this morning after it had entered the eastern territorial water of the Philippines' central region.

At 7am, the tropical storm was located at around 270 kilometers of the eastern territorial water of the Philippines’ central area with its powerful wind of 60-75 kilometers an hour. 

Storm Kai-tak is going to slowly move the westward at a speed of 5 kilometers an hour in next 24 hours.

By the morning tomorrow, its eye is warned to be at around 130 kilometers of the eastern territorial water of the Philippines' central area. The strongest wind near the center could reach at 60- 75 kilometers an hour. 

Typhoon Kai-tak is forecast to move the west- northwestward at a speed of 5 kilometers an hour within next 24- 48 hours.
