Binh Duong leaders pledge to create favorable condition for FDI enterprises

The Southern province of Binh Duong People’s Committee yesterday held a dialogue between the provincial leaders and local FDI enterprises.

Secretary of Binh Duong province Party Committee Tran Van Nam, Chairman Tran Thanh Lien and the Indian, Netherlands, Malaysian Consulates in HCMC and over 80 FDI enterprises attended the meeting.

For the past years, Binh Duong province had attracted 3,397 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$ 30,95billion.

In 2017, total investment capital reached US$ 2.9trillion, up 133 percent compared to last year, doubling the number against its yearly target.

By the first six months of 2018, over $ 853.5 million FDI capital poured in the province, reaching 61 percent compared to its yearly plan.

In the meeting, enterprises hoped the province continued improving investment environment, shortening customs clearance time and admin procedures.

They suggested Binh Duong leaders paid more attention to the policies of social, health insurances, schools for workers’ children …adding that the province should create condition to increase the workers’ income if the province allows them to work 300 hours per year.

Chairman Tran Thanh Lien listened to enterprises’ opinions pledging that the provincial leaders should seek solutions and create favorable conditions for enterprises to develop their business activities in the province.
