Binh Duong supports enterprises in supporting industry

Thanks to the right orientation and policy of supporting industry development, the southern province of Binh Duong has lured many large projects invested by international corporations, said a report issued by Binh Duong Depertmment of Industry and Trade.
For instance, the $1 billion automobile tire cord and airbag factory in Bau Bang Industrial Park of Kolon Industries Inc. was invested by South Korea’s KOLON Group; the factory producing packages from paper, plastic and aluminum foil for liquid foods of Tetra Pak Binh Duong Joint Stock Company was invested by a Singaporean business.
At present, the Department is carrying out a supporting industry development project and then it will give its opinion to help complete the investment stimulus program of the province People’s Committee in the field of supporting industry.
The highlight of the program to develop the industry more, carry out training program to provide personnel for the sector and improve enterprises’ management capability and assess localization ratio of four major industries.
In order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the government’s support for firms in the support industries, the Department will communicate with enterprises to understand their needs.
Furthermore, it has coordinated with the industrial park management board of the province to organize many programs on connecting firms with the local and foreign counterparts for market expansion, subsequently, to take part in global supply chains.
