Budget Tiger Airways to Open Da Nang-Singapore Route

The Singaporean low cost carrier Tiger Airways CEO Tony Davis on Feb. 7 joined a meeting with leaderships of Viet Nam’s central city of Da Nang to discuss the development of its new route from Singapore to the city in 2006.

Accordingly, the airline plans to open local training courses for pilots, airplane mechanics as well as hostesses who will work not only on the said flight but also on others to ASEAN countries from Da Nang in the near future.

Tiger Airways expects to carry about 1 million passengers per year to Da Nang since the destination was recently ranked one of the world’s six most beautiful beach-cities by the Fobes Magazine (USA), said Davis.
