Chinese Vegetables Find Potential Market in Viet Nam

Last month, China was the largest market to export vegetables to Viet Nam, the Ministry of Trade revealed.

Of the total vegetable imports for the whole country, US$ 7.24 million, temperate vegetables from China accounted for 84 percent, or US$ 6 million.

Other markets that supplied vegetables to Viet Nam were the United States, Myanmar, Japan, and Malaysia.

Carrots, onions, garlic, potatoes, beans, tomatoes, and mushrooms topped the list of imported vegetables, as they are out of season in Viet Nam.
