Therefore, Director General of the Plant Protection Department Hoang Trung has just signed the Official Letter No. 2393 / BVTV-KD to request local plant quarantine divisions for inspection of each export consignment in accordance with plant quarantine regulations of the EU.
In particular, the plant quarantine agencies must inspect as well as ensure no infection of fruit fly for consignments with fresh segment citrus fruits and mangoes being produced from gardeners.
In order to ensure traceability, information related to gardeners without inflection of fruit flies or treatment parameters has to be declared in the plant quarantine certificates.
