Supermarkets and traditional markets will open longer hours to meet customer demand before and after Tet holidays.

Co-opMart supermarkets will open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on January 20-16, at 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. from January 27-29, and at 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 30.
The largest supermarket chain will close on January 31. It will reopen at 8am-12pm on February 1-4 and resume normal business hours starting February 5.
Supermarkets including Big C, Maximark, Citimark and Hanoi will open 1-2 hours earlier than normal business hours and close after 10 p.m. everyday. The will resume normal hours on February 3.
Traditional markets will also open until 9 p.m. everyday.
