US foodservice retailer McDonald's will open its first restaurant at 2-6 bis Dien Bien Phu in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 after Tet holiday, announced the Good Day Hospitality Co, the developmental licensee in Vietnam of the leading global foodservice retailer.
Mc Donald's store will open 24 hours a day and offer fast-food Drive-thru service that allows customers to purchase meals without leaving their cars. There is also McDonald's Cafés in the store.
Nguyen Huy Thinh, general manager of McDonald’s in Vietnam said that the store will provide customers quality food that tasted the same in every location. 80-90 percent of raw material supplying for McDonald's will be imported from many countries around the world.
McDonald's is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, has served around 68 million customers daily in 33,500 outlets in 119 countries.
