MPI Goes to Korea to Plug Investment Opportunities

Representatives of the Planning and Investment and other ministries are arriving in the Republic of Korea today to promote Viet Nam as an investment destination.

Nguyen Thi Bich Van, deputy director of the MPI’s Foreign Investment Department, says more than 300 Korean companies will be represented at a Viet Nam investment conference tomorrow.
The ministry is planning similar forays to the United States, Australia, Germany, England and Japan in October and November.
Ms. Van says ever more foreign investors are coming to Viet Nam these days.
Most noticeably, quite a few business delegations in the APEC countries will be accompanying their political leaders to the APEC summit in Ha Noi very soon.
