Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given the green light for holding a Vietnam Investment Forum in New York and other economic hubs in the US this year.
Mr. Dung has ordered the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to obtain ministries’ recommendations for the forum and closely cooperate with other agencies to ensure it is successful.
The forum will provide fresh perspectives to investors on Vietnam’s economic growth, financial markets, and key industries.
It will provide market intelligence for entrepreneurs to make decisions about investments in Vietnam’s key sectors.
Investors will also gain first-hand knowledge of new regulatory and legal developments in Vietnam.
The forum which is one of the important investment attractions on Vietnam in the foreign countries in 2009 will be held by Q3 or Q4.
