Japan’s Sharp Corporation has officially announced the establishment of an electronics company in Vietnam.
This is the electronics giant’s 29th branch and its main office is located in Ho Chi Minh City. A branch office will also be established in Hanoi to serve customers in northern Vietnam.
According to the Japanese company, the demand for electronic products, especially Sharp products, in Vietnam is increasing rapidly.
On the occasion, the corporation also announced a strategy for the Vietnamese market named “New Era of SHARP”, focusing on products that help improve people’s health, protect the environment and save energy.
The HCM City-based company is expected to rake in 50 million USD from selling Sharp products and the amount is forecast to be 100 million USD by 2011.
