Regarding strikes, the Ministry will continued to perfect legal regulations and law-awareness training, and boost inspection and examination on implementation of labor law, establish labor unions at IP and EPZ enterprises and enhance the efficiency of unions’ activities.

Totally, nine solutions were proposed at the conference.

Accordingly, priorities will be given to human resource training, formation of mechanism and policies on accommodation for workers of IPs and EPZs, and perfection of policies on investment incentives for IP and EPZ enterprises.

The conference was held in the southern province of Long An, aiming to review the operation of economic zones and IPs, EPZs in the past 15 years.
