Pham Dinh Nguyen grew up in Ho Chi Minh City and graduated from the University of Economics.
Wyoming is the smallest State in the United States with an area covering four hectares. It has one gas station and one single American resident.

Although the town is not a big enough market for much of anything, Nguyen decided to pay US$ 900,000 to buy the town because he thought that the smallest State would attract much interest from the media.
After Nguyen became the Mayor of Buford Town, he decided to rename the town after the coffee brand ‘PhinDeli’. According to Nguyen, he has changed the Town’s name solely for the purpose of promoting the coffee brand.
Nguyen and his friends have brainstormed on what to do with the town, eventually setting on the idea of developing this town as a hub for distributing Vietnamese coffee.
Besides this, Nguyen has plans to develop the town as a showroom to introduce other Vietnamese products to penetrate the US market.
PhinDeli is a Vietnamese brand coffee and it has taken Nguyen eight months to make the PhinDeli idea come true.
By introducing the Vietnamese brand coffee in the US market, Pham Dinh Nguyen hopes that PhinDeli will be popularized on a wider scale in the US market in coming times.
