According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam’s export turnover reached US$ 16 billion in the first seven months of this year, up 17.5 percent compared to 2013.
Vietnam products export to the United States market came US$23.9 billion in 2013, presenting a year on year increase of 17.5 percent.
However, Vietnamese enterprises have not comprehensively approached the U.S.’ export regulations and policies yet.
Local high-risk goods to the US market are vegetables, acid, fruits, spices, aqua products.
