The project includes four packages and would be implemented in 25 cities and provinces in the country.
This is the largest project which Bitel has won so far. The project proposed by Bitel was evaluated to be better than current plans used in the country.
Do Manh Hung, General Director of Viettel Global, said Bitel has been given trust from its partners thanks to added values and reasonable costs to customers. This has brought new opportunities for Bitel in the future in Peru.
Bitel took four months to win the contract. Its revenue in 2018 rose by 82 percent from the previous year to reach US$30.8 million.
It targets revenue of US$40 million in 2019 from the business-to-business sector alone.
