An array of activities involving craft product exhibition and trading will be held at the festival.
Visitors will be able to make their own products under guidance of experts in embroidery, ao dai (traditional long dress) tailoring, silk and brocade weaving, Zeng textiles, and jewellery, among others.
Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hue city Nguyen Dang Thanh, also head of the organisers, said in addition to introducing unique products of Vietnam’s craft villages, the organisers will zone off areas to honour artisans and the villages, as well as the country’s craft products such as silk, brocade, lanterns, and herbal medicines.
The biennial event is touted as a highlight in the heritage journey in the central region, making contributions to promoting regional tourism growth.
