Book of archaeology of southern region receives Tran Van Giau Award

A group of authors was presented Tran Van Giau Science Award for their work titled “Archeology in the South Vietnam” on August 30 in HCMC.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Chi Hoang is chief author of the two-volume historical work which are named “The Protohistory” and “The Prehistory”. The collection with 1,511 pages is published by the Social Sciences Publishing House.
The award’s jury board highly appreciated the “Archeology in the South Vietnam” that presents archaeology findings after 40 years of study and surveys.
Tran Van Giau Science Award was founded in 2002 in order to honor authors, scientific and historical research works in the Southern region.
