This year’s subject is “Smile”. The jury inlcudes photographers Justin Mott, Hai Dong and Hai Thanh.
Similar competitions were held in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City earlier, and saw respectively an overwhelming participation of 1,200 and 7,000 hobbyists, amateurs and professional photographers featuring thousands of pictures.

Winners of Canon PhotoMarathon competitions in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City will represent Vietnam to compete at the Canon PhotoMarathon Asia Championship 2018 in Japan.
The first Canon PhotoMarathon was held in Singapore in 2003. The competition was extended to other parts of Asia, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,Vietnam, India, Brunei, Cambodia, China and Sri Lanka. The competition features photographic talents from participating countries tasked to complete the assignments within a limited time.
