Concerts to mark 40 years of Vietnam, Denmark relations

A concert titled “Wishing for the Moon” celebrating 40 years of   diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark will be held at Hanoi Opera House on November 28 and Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on November 30.

World famous Danish artist Niels Lan Doky and his trio will be on stage together with Vietnamese pop star Thanh Lam and musician Quoc Trung.

Entry tickets for the Hanoi concert are priced from VND800,000 to VND2,500,000. A limited number of free tickets for the HCMC show will be distributed at the Danish Economic and Commercial Office, 505-Centec Tower, 5th floor, 72-74 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 3, HCMC.

In addition, a special Danish program of classical ballet, music and contemporary dance will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on November 29-30.

The show will present classical ballet by choreographer August Bournonville, Popular Danish music pieces of Carl Nielsen & N. W. Gade, and contemporary dance choreographed by Louise Midjord.

Artists from the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Symphony Orchestra and dancers from the Vietnam National Ballet Company will also join the event.

Ticket are priced at VND150,000-VND500,000.
