Days of Yore in Ho Chi Minh City on Display

An exhibition featuring 111 photos and postcards of Sai Gon from the late 19th and early 20th centuries is being held until May 8 at the offices of Xua va Nay (Then&Now) magazine at 181 De Tham Street, District 1 in HCMC.
The pictures, highlighting the architecture, culture and city life of what is now Ho Chi Minh City, were selected from private collections as well as books, magazines, newspapers and the Ha Noi Institute of Social Science’s archives.

Another exhibition will also be organized by the magazine in October featuring photo collections of Ha Noi and Hue.
