Exhibition “Designer’s Limits” Opens in HCMC

More than 300 works of graphic, decoration, fashion and shaping from over 40 designers, who have just graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, are on display in the exhibition “Designer’s Limits” at the Exhibition House of the city from January 5 to 12.

"Mistreatment" by Ngo Quoc Trung.

Beside the graduating designs, there are many excellent designs made by students during their five years in the university.

Visitors have opportunity to contemplate works presenting profound creativity, for example the sociopolitical and art posters titled “God-given parties on the road” by Tran Thi Nhat Tram, “Mistreatment” by Ngo Quoc Trung, presenting damaged roads full of holes like a beautiful girl’s smearing face, or “Calling the spring” by Tran Thi Nhat Tram, presenting young people’s thirst for rising and so on.

Creativity has no borders. Anyhow, to complete a work, designers always face many limits of time, space, culture, customers’ requirements and expense, former student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture Ngo Quoc Trung said.

Designers have to overcome those limits to prove the importance of designing, which means that they overcome their own limits and strive for other horizons.
