Exhibition on sea and island cultural, tourism heritages opens in Khanh Hoa

An exhibition on Vietnam’s sea and island cultural and tourism heritages opened in the central coastal city of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province on June 14.

The event is part of the activities marking the National Tourism Year 2019 themed “Nha Trang – Color of the Sea” in Khanh Hoa province.
The display features more than 200 exhibits, including photos, artefacts, atlases, documents in Han- Nom scripts, Nguyen dynasty’s royal documents affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes and its waters in the East Sea.
The exhibition also promotes island and sea tourism; and introduces to viewers the beauty of Vietnamese seas and islands through pictures, literature works, press and music pieces.
Visitors will also have a chance to enjoy cultural heritages, landscapes, traditional festivals, local foods, folk arts, sea products of coastal provinces and cities of Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Phu Yen, HCMC, Kien Giang, Ca Mau and more.
The event will run until June 18.
