Hanoi to hold its first international salsa festival

A Latino dance festival, “Salsa Holidays,” will be held for the first time in Hanoi from July 30 to August 1.

Hosted at the Sheraton Hotel, as a special treat, foreign dancers, including Canadian leading dancer and chairman of Attitude Dance Studio, Gupson Pierre; Australia’s Sharon Parkir, teacher from Salsa Melbourne; and Reyno from Indonesia, founder of the Salsa Fresca and champion of the Salsa Indonesia Competition, will also be in attendance with domestic dancers.

The event will include an opening ceremony on July 30, with seminars on August 1 and dance parties held on July 30 and August 1.

Salsa lovers will have a chance to enjoy salsa dance performances and take part in a course guided by world renowned dancers and instructors.
