The Hue Monuments Conservation Center has appealed to international organizations for funds for a project to conserve and restore Hue’s royal relics through 2020 at an expected cost of US$24 million.

The relics on its list include Can Chanh Palace, the display system at the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum, Thien Mu Pagoda, the tomb of King Tu Duc, and royal costumes.

The center raised US$6 million for conservation and restoration between 1992 and 2008, Phung Phu, its director, said.
